Special Note From Artist Everett Regua
To be an artist and to be able to transform a blank wall space
into any particular image is a truly gratifying experience. What I like
about being able to paint on the actual wall is of course the process,
but also the finished results. As seen here in the the Wall Mural
Gallery, the entire wall, whatever size or shape is my canvas. Wall
textures are enhanced with the paint application, giving the final wall
mural image more life and character. I enjoy using the painting
technique, Trompe l'oeil , ( French, literally, deceive the eye). This
is a style of painting which objects are painted in realistic detail.
I also strive to add depth to each wall mural I paint, allowing more
space for the viewer to linger.
